How payments work

Free to use
Guest manuals, printable Welcome Books, signs and QR codes are free. There is no subscription, and guests never pay to view a manual.
Fees come from the price before tax
Tax collected on a sale is passed to the seller in full. Card fees are the ones Stripe charges, usually 2.9% + $0.30.
Minimum price
Paid add-ons and services must cost at least $10. Free items are fine.
Commission payouts
Host and property manager commissions are paid monthly once they reach $25. Smaller amounts carry over to the next month.
Refunds
The guest gets a full refund. If the seller cancelled or couldn't provide the service, the card fee (the card company keeps it) comes out of the seller's next payout. If the guest cancelled, StayPerk pays it.
Card disputes
The payout waits while a dispute is open. If the guest wins and the service wasn't delivered, the seller covers the amount and the $15 dispute fee. If it was delivered, StayPerk covers it.
